Also, info from Diann Scott:
We are expecting water to rise to major flood levels by Tuesday afternoon, cresting around 1 am Thursday (is current predictions indicate it may be within 16″ of where we crested last Memorial Day weekend), with water receding by Sunday.   It is important for people to make arrangements now.    Our lake was up 14″ before this melt and rain started.  Predictions are calling for 5″ of total rainfall.  For every 1″ of rain, the lake raises at least 4″ – so we could be 34″ above normal water level.   Last year Waldron Lake Drive had nearly 40″ of water on it, it could potentially see 24″ of water with this torrential rainfall.
We will be monitoring this event closely and will keep posting updates on water coming in, as well as how quickly the water is leaving!
I am checking on sandbags now and will provide update soon.
