Saturday, August 19, volunteers helped place sections of the dam to help maintain water level.

Saturday August 26th, at the West Lakes Marina. Please bring chairs. Registration starts at 9 am, Meeting from 10-12, followed by potluck dinner. We will be forming important committees!

Congratulations to Diann Scott, the Rome City Citizen of the Year! Well deserved, for all the work and effort she has done for the community.

The West Lakes Association has a parade entry for the Chautauqua Days Parade Saturday August 13. Our entry will be "West Lakes Association River Clean-up". We need clean-up volunteers to walk behind our tractor hay wagon. Kids can ride on hay wagon. We will muster at 3:30 Saturday behind the City Hall and near the Fire Department. Line up at 4:00, parade at 4:30. It is a short parade! Food after parade and activities for kids. More info call Diann Scott 260-273-9441.
